NEW SCHOOL BOUNDARY CHANGES SPLIT WINDOVER

The new boundary changes have been posted and it is NOT GOOD for our Windover Farms Community or our Elementary School!!

The School Board still is still proposing to split our Windover community.

Please email the school board members to keep our community together and state that you don’t think people should be bussed further away from their homes and out of their community schools in order to accommodate Title 1 status for a school.  From the map it certainly seems they are looking more at the Title I status than keeping neighborhoods together.  Longleaf was proposed in 1997 and built for the Windover farms community to be considered the “neighborhood school” and now they want to take that away.

Contact information for the school board.  Voice your opinion to all not only Karen Henderson.

Please consider attending the School Board meeting on Tuesday, January 19 supporting our community and school.

Please pass this on to your neighbors.

Thank you for your support.
